I finally assembled my Winding Ways quilt. I'd like to thank my husband, my sewing friends and also my blogging friends for their encouragement.
Now for a little easy piecing. I'm going to play with squares and rectangles for a week or so. Then I think I'll do a Mariner's Compass. Or a Drunkard's Path. Oh, my mind swirls with possibilities!!
I love this pattern and I LOVE yours. I made one a couple of years ago, all hand pieced but I sold it at my exhibition (apiecefullife/YouTube). You have inspired me to make it again.
How did I miss this when you first posted it? I'm behind in my blog-reading, I guess.
Wow, it is positively gorgeous! I love the controlled scrappiness of it, the pattern itself, and secondary pattern created by the shapes of the pieces. It's just beautiful!
Wow. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThat is fabulous! Really lovely.
