Spring Flowers

Spring is trying to arrive in the Midwest. It has been gray and rainy this week. And we all know what April showers bring.

These flowers will be blooming in a quilt by next month. I'll be sewing some leaves today. This quilt will be a graduation gift for a sweet young lady.

Happy sewing!

What a fun quilt block. I could make it with half-square triangles but I'm not sure how you managed to make it without. It looks difficult. Can't wait to see it finished.

Thanks Nancy, the blocks are pretty easy. They are just square sewn on to rectangles, then trim the excess. I'll post process and (hopefully) a finished top at the end of the week.
